I interned with Equine Sports Medicine in Fort Worth, TX and Tampa, FL during my undergraduate career at North Dakota State University. I am now a first-year vet student at Kansas State University with an emphasis on large animal and equine medicine. I plan on returning to North Dakota to practice veterinary medicine after my fourth year at K-State.

Working for ESM has been one of the best experiences of my life. The opportunity to see the number of lameness cases and the opportunity to work with two of the top lameness veterinarians in the world is something you can’t just find anywhere. If you are looking for a high intensity experience in diagnosing and treating lameness, then Equine Sports Medicine is the place for you. I have had the opportunity to assist with veterinary procedures on some of the top reining, pleasure, hunter/jumper, trail, and driving horses in the world. ESM is also an "easy" place to work as long as you give it your all and show a willingness to learn and improve. The staff at ESM are some the best people to work with in the industry.
