Sharing knowledge is one way that Equine Sports Medicine gives back to the veterinary community. At any given show you may find a vet student from some of the most prestigious veterinarian schools training and learning at Equine Sports Medicine.

"The doctors at ESM were some of the best mentors I could have hoped for. They were always willing to answer the questions that I am sure they have heard a million times from vet students and clients. The atmosphere on the trailer is very relaxed and fun, yet professional."
I am 21 years old from a small farm in Menoken, ND, where we train roping/ rodeo performance horses. I interned with Equine Sports Medicine in Fort Worth, TX and Tampa, FL during my undergraduate career at North Dakota State University. I am now a first-year vet student at Kansas State University with an emphasis on large animal and equine medicine. I plan on returning to North Dakota to practice veterinary medicine after my fourth year at K-State.

"Traveling to shows with the Equine Sports Medicine team provided me with a unique experience to observe an intense sports medicine caseload from impressive state of the art facilities."
Since visiting the Equine Sports Medicine team, I returned to Australia to commence a senior nursing role at the University of Melbourne Equine Center whilst studying an Advanced Diploma in Equine Surgical Nursing.
